ArkMEA 2021 All-State Virtual PD Sessions
ArkMEA is hosting the following presentations at our upcoming Arkansas All-State Virtual PD Conference. Please visit asboa.org and click on Director/Teacher Registration for PD. This year's All-State PD is being offered FREE to attendees. Sessions start February 26th, 2021and repeat on February 27th, 2021.

Friday, February 26th, 2021
9:00-9:55 am - Dr. Daniel Abrahams: Informances: Performances that inform as a way for virtual concerts that are student-centered and move beyond the virtual ensemble.
10:00-10:45 am - Dr. Jeffrey Murdock: Culturally Responsive Pedagogy: Being culturally responsive to pedagogy during the educational process.
11:00-11:55 am - Rick Salonen: Jazz Pedagogy: Jazz education tips and tricks for all.
12:45-1:55 pm - Dr. Timothy Oliver and Dr. Sarah Labovitz: Focus on What You Can Do, Not on What You Can't: Modifying your music curriculum in meaningful ways.

2:00-2:55 pm - Dr. Christa Kuebal: Development of High School Musicians: A Panel Discussion presented by Christa Kuebel, Kevin Coker, Dennis Giotta, Jennifer Hawkinson, and Tiffanie Manes.
